‘voor de kunst van het alledaagse’
Ontworpen en vervaardigd door Job Oort.
Veder. Now on show at Dutch Design Week in Het Klokgebouw in Eindhoven & available for pre-order!
Veder is a birdhouse and feeding station in one, inspired by the “eyes” that appear after branches break off a tree. You can hang Veder vertically or horizontally as either a birdhouse or a feeding station.
The slight angle between the front and back makes Veder appear to be peeking slightly to the left or right. This creates a playful and dynamic effect when several units are hung on one wall!
Veder will be available in stainless steel or CorTen steel, which will develop a beautiful and unique rust-brown patina over time.

Stadskrat. Now on show at the HOW & WOW exhibition by Crafts Council Nederland during Dutch Design Week in De Fabriek in Eindhoven!
Stadskrat is a refined and stackable piece of crate-furniture. It is inspired by the Schreiner-techniques of my grandfather and has been dimensioned to be a seamless add-on to any room or interior: use it as a stool, bookshelf, side-table, night stand or simply as additional storage. With Stadskrat, the beauty really lies in the details. When living-with, and by touching the crate, the subtle curves and continuous lines slowly reveal themselves.
The first series of candleholders,
in cream, deep- and light blue.
